Our Story
ALTRA Landscapes & Tree Service was built on competition, trust, and a shared respect for doing things the right way.
The company was founded by two former pole vaulters who spent years competing against each other in high school and college track. What started as rivalry became mutual respect — and eventually a partnership rooted in discipline, precision, and pushing standards higher. Those same principles now guide every project we take on.

With nearly a decade of hands-on experience in landscaping and outdoor work, Alyas takes immense pride in craftsmanship and the process of our work. Shaped both through years on the job and as an athlete. He brings discipline to and takes a direct, hands-on role in every project, from planning to final details, to ensure the work is done right and built to last.
Alyas brings years of experience leading crews, coordinating job sites, and managing projects from start to finish. He understands the importance of clear communication and takes pride in working directly with clients to answer questions, address concerns, and ensure expectations are met at every stage of the project. His hands-on leadership style keeps jobs running smoothly and clients confident in the process.​

Travis is a highly skilled Landscape Architectural Designer with over a decade of hands-on landscape experience. A successful former Division I collegiate pole vaulter at the University of Connecticut. He has experience in residential, commercial, and institutional landscape design. He loves creating functional landscapes with native plantings that blend into the New England landscape. You can always trust Travis to bring discipline and precision to every project. Combining horticultural expertise with practical construction knowledge. His focus is on creating outdoor spaces that are functional, sustainable, and built to last.
